The Greater Washington Employee Relocation Council (GWERC) is one of the largest and most progressive regional organizations working with the Worldwide ERC.
GWERC was formed in 1985 as a non-profit organization, by relocation professionals with a common interest to share and gain knowledge in the relocation field. GWERC serves the Washington DC metro area, including Baltimore and Northern Virginia. GWERC acts as a liaison between local professionals and the Worldwide ERC organization.

President’s Message
What a terrific first meeting for 2009! We received very positive feedback from those that attended our meeting on March 19. Overwhelming, those that I talked with gave very high praise of the program content. We appreciate Peter Scott, ERC Tax Counsel, and his insights on the Relocation Tax & Legal Hot Topics that he discussed in his presentation. Nearly everyone that I spoke with mentioned how exciting it was to see the growth in our membership - almost 90 attendees! We hope to see all of you at the June meeting.
